When mastering, I sometimes wish to add reverb to the stereo mix. But, I like to add it to only 500Hz and above. To do this, I go into Spectral Frequency Display and select everything from 500Hz and up using the marquee tool. Then, I apply reverb to the selection.
This works for me in Audition 1.5, but does not work in Audition 2.0 nor 3.0. When applying it in 3.0, a window appears showing the reverb being applied, but, when done, it has in fact not been applied. You cannot hear the reverb in the mix, even when drastic amounts are tried...and there is no undo for the reverb in the "Edit" pull down menu, when complete.
Audition support says that it works for them... hmmm...
Can anyone try this and let me know if it works for you?
