We use this software where I work, and they want me to learn how to use it by June 29th, so I am trying to use the Trial Version on MY computer - giving me about 30 days to become comfortable with it before they throw me into the 'real world.' I have downloaded from the Adobe site, and installed as directed.
Program opens properly (I assume) and allows me to create a waveform file. The problem comes when I try to record. I hit record and it begins - but after less than a second, it stops and the waveform screen goes "white" as if it is being edited.
Then, when I exit the program, I get the Audition Debug Event error [..\..\Threads\private\IdleTimeBroadcaster.cpp- 132] which has been discussed in other threads. I have not found where THAT error was ever addressed successfully.
Trying another version of the software won't work: THIS is the version being used by my employer, and it is the one I have to learn.
Any help would be appreciated; my 30-day clock is running and I'll need as much of that as I can get to be ready.
Thanks!
