I have 24 tracks of music from a live performance I did (let's call it a rock band). The show was 3 sets of about 1 hr. each set. The guy doing sound stopped recording at the end of each set and then started recording at the beginning of the next set. Therefore, I actually have 3 sets of 24 tracks, 1 set (of 24 tracks) from each musical set.
I've imported all of set 1 into Audition. I've labeled each track "bass," "lead guitar," etc., and have begun to pan certain channels to the Left or Right to prepare for the final mix down. I will be adding some minimal effects, too, like reverb to the vocals - nothing too complicated.
My question: is there any way I can save the work that I've done for set 1 (labeling of the tracks, pan settings, maybe even effect on certain tracks/channels) and apply them to the set 2 once I import that into a new project? This will save a lot of time.
I just realized (as I'm typing this) that i could create on one project and then concatenate "track 1" from each set. But If someone knows the answer to my first question (saving settings) the WILL come in handy for me in the future.
Thanks!!!
