Can't get playhead to snap to the ends of a clip.

I must be missing something simple here, but I can't get Audition to snap the playhead to the ends of a clip in the multitrack view.  I have snapping "on," and I have "snap to clip" checked, but it just won't snap to either end of a clip.  It will snap to the timeline, but even if I uncheck everything else and have "snap to clip" checked exclusively, it still doesn't work for me.

Okay -- what am I missing?
