I've just reopened an old file I worked on a few months back and somehow can't play any files at all. As you see in the image the play button is disabled. The same is true if I open any files (wav, mp3, aac, etc). I can play those files fine outside Audition. In fact at one point I opened a (random) wav file and suddenly the play button was enabled. However, when I closed the file and reopened it the same didn't happen. So, apart from a seemingly random moment, my play button is disabled. I don't have time to spend hours working this out so I'm hoping someone out there will know something obvious. And just to clarify, I haven't used Audition at all since this last project a few months ago.
