I'm finding editing sound to video almost impossible due to the amount of stuttering I get playing back audio when editing to video. The choppy audio playback happens whether using dynamic link to send the video from Premiere Pro to Audition, or exporting a video when sending my timeline across. It happens regardless of the use of plugins, also freezing or even muting tracks makes little difference. The choppy audio makes editing and mixing to video in Audition extremely frustrating, and I have had this issue in multiple versions of Audition over around 4 years - the same problem in every single version during that time.
Premiere Pro plays back video fine (even with multiple effects and overlays), and I've mixed sound to video using Logic Pro 9 without playback problems years ago on much slower machines.

I'm sure other people must be having the same problem? If anyone has ever managed to resolve this please let me know!
