The company I work for just upgraded from CS6 to CC. I'm working on a 30 minute TV show, and my normal workflow for dialog editing includes using multiband compressor on almost every track. It works fine for the first track I apply it too, but Audition keeps crashing when I apply a multiband compressor to a second track. Here are the steps that specifically crash it.
Apply 30 Band EQ to both tracks (general high/low roll off).
Apply Multiband Compressor to track 1, choose Broadcast preset, adjust to voice.
Apply Multiband Compressor to track 2, choose Broadcast preset, hit space to play to adjust, then Audition crashes.
I've tried not using a preset and audition still crashes when I hit play. In writing this and testing some other things, I've noticed that it crashes with any instance of a compressor (singleband, tube modeled, etc.).
Here are the specs of the system I'm using.
Mac Pro (the new one)
OSX 10.9.3
3 Ghz 8 Core Xeon E5
32GB Ram
Editing off of a Raid-0 Thunderbolt Drive
I'm running the latest version of Audition CC
Does anyone know how to fix this or has run into the same issues?
