Hey guys,
I've been having troubles opening .wav files from CD that were recorded in the 90's. The sound card I had back then was a GadgetLabs 8x8 PCI card and rack mount box.
So I had done all my recordings on CEP 1 with the settings at 24 bit, 44.1KHz.
Unfortunately when I open them now in AA CC 2015, a vocal track looks like this in the screenshot.
It shows at the bottom of the screen as 32 bit float.
I've tried to convert it to 24 bit in AA but I think it's just not able to read it in the first place.
Any ideas on any format convertors or other tools I may be able to use out there to try and resurrect these recordings?
Trying to find one of those old sound cards and installing it is not on my list of options.
