Yet Another Major Major Advantage of Adobe Audition over Pro-Tools

Many times when you use the "bounce to disk" function which in protools to save a mixdown, it takes about an hour, sometimes longer sometimes a bit shorter.

As we should know, sometimes specific dither settings work better for one project then another.  You may want to create a few mixdowns and compare them to see which dither (and other settings or mix parameters) sound better in a stereo mixdown for that particular project.

In Audition, this can be accomplished in a few minutes many times, for longer projects a little bit longer, but nothing even in the ballpark of an hour or longer.

With Pro-Tools, you have to wait an hour just for ONE INSTANCE of bounce to disk, not to mention you can't use your computer for anything else during this time period.

Imagine, you're done mixing and pre-mastering a project and want to compare 3 different versions of the mixdown, but each time you try to do what takes minutes for multiple mixdowns in Audition (export function) each instance takes an hour long when using the Pro-fools (bounce to disk) option.

CAN YOU SAY HUUUUUGE WASTE OF TIME.

Not only that, but if you want to create an mp3 you have to buy a seperate program!!!  FOR $500!!!!  wowowowow!!! pro-fools is a huge sack of defacashun.

While Audition comes with mp3 creation from the pioneering company themselves "Fraunhoefers" or however you spell it.
