Stretch audio track without changing speed

Hi there,

First, I have to let you know I'm really a newbie regarding audio recording/sound editing.

So, I have this video that was recorded on European standards and this audio track that was sent to me and which was recorded on US standards.

I ended up having an audio track much shorter than my video despite the fact it is complete. It is synced at the start and then it naturally falls out of sync. Sample rates and bit rates are the same, I made sur of that.

From what I gathered you can set your recorder to match a specific video fps. I found this software, Wave Agent, that enables you to change the "audio fps" (even though it is not proper to call it this way they do). Increasing it to 30 fps made it better. But I needed to go over that limit and this software wouldn't allow me to do that. So here I am (not quite rocking it like a hurricane), trying to figure out how I could solve this issue in Audition. Any solution? Or at least hints? I've been trying for over 15 hours, I'm starting to run out of solutions.

Thanks a bunch!
Celine
