I am incredibly confused and a little frustrated, hopefully someone can help me out.
- OSX 10.9.5
- Audition CC 2014.2
- Blue Yeti Pro USB Mic
- Apple Midi Setup: Output: 192000.0 Hz, Input: 192000.0 Hz
- Apple Sound: Set to BLUE USB Audio 2.0
- Audition Audio Hardware Preferences
- New Audio File @ 192000 Hz
- Sample Rate Error
Somehow I have gotten this to work before. 192000 Hz recording in Audition. No amount of fiddling with settings, rebooting, or otherwise can get me any higher than 96000. 96000 only works if I downgrade the Apple Midi Setup to 96000, which makes sense as the error message implies it needs to be the same as Apple Midi. How come I cannot get Audition to record at 192000 when I am setting Apple Midi Setup to 192000?
If I uncheck the, "Attempt to force hardware to document sample rate" the "Sample Rate" menu does not go any higher than 96000, even though Apple Midi Setup is set to 1920000. For fun here is a screenshot of the Audio Channel Mapping.
