This is the second time I've lost a podcast recording and gotten this message when I tried to open the file in Audition. Last time I ended up rerecording.
Any idea why this happens, how I can prevent it happening again, and if I can get it back? In file explorer it shows up at a wav file with 0 file size. It won't play in media player. I have an old version of soundbooth and it says the file is an unsupported format or damaged file.
I recorded it on a Tascam recorder through a soundboard with microphone amps. 42 out of 44 times it has been fine.
