Audition installed and appears to work. My problem is that on playback the initial audio is staticy and garbled for about half a second before it clears up. This happens at any point on the sound file.Wherever the cursor has been parked. I'm running Windows 8.1 with an i5 Intel chip and eight gigs of RAM.
