Always unwanted click sound on both ends of a clip

When I put vocal segments together in the multitrack session I get this annoying "click" sound, or a glitch, in the beginning of each clip. It ruins everything of course and makes my recordings useless. They are not there on the recording but only occur when I put the segments together in Audition. Seems to me that Audition can't handle the process of putting clips together? Each time that bar reaches the beginning of the next clip that annoying sound arrives. It's like an electric pulse or something, hard to describe. I did a test with no sound in the clips, just adding them together, the glitch sound wasn't there then. When I mark a section in a clip and add silence to it and make the play head run just inside that segment the sound is there in the beginning and the end as well. As if the software is actually producing these in and out signals. When I go in and edit each and every clip solitary I try to add a segment of dead silence in the beginning and end, when I re-enter the multitrack session again to play it that seems to have removed most of the unwanted clicks, but then the mix is looser with longer time between the clips, and not like I wanted it to be. I do voice over work, so this issue is on vocal recording. The mic recording itself is fine, its when I start putting clips and sections together in the multitrack mode that these problems starts to occur.

I've heard others complain of the same thing here and there. A bug?
