Hi all, for a final year university project I am creating an audiovisual piece that involves industrial and communication sounds. I am thinking of having these sounds played in 5.1 surround. Thing is I have not mixed in 5.1 surround before and was just want to know if it would be difficult to mix in surround as a first timer, or would it be easier if I just mix in stereo and convert to 5.1? Does it even make a difference?
