Look, I know what sample rate is in regards to audio files. Here's my questions. Why is it that Adobe Audition, when using a mutlitrack project, absolutely has to conform audio files of different sample rates to put them into the same multitrack project? Let's take Adobe Premiere Pro; I can import and put tons of different forms of audio with different sample rates in its audio tracks for any given sequence, and there isn't any conforming done there. Why does Audition HAVE to conform audio files so that they're the same Sample Rate within a multitrack project? Why can't that be optional since Premiere Pro clearly shows that it could be?
I know that I'm not understanding something critical here; this is why I need an explanation.
