Video not Importing From Premiere

Help Please -

I seem to not have any luck seeing my video while importing my selected clip (Video & Audio) from PPro into Audition.

I've done this two ways:

1 - Selecting the clip (both the Video & Audio) in the PPro timeline and right clicking and selecting "Edit Clip in Adobe Audition". When I do this, a dialogue box appears "Render and Replace".  ... but I didn't select or want that.

2 - Again, selecting the clip (both the Video & Audio) in the PPro timeline ... but this time, going up to the Edit menu and selecting "Edit in Adobe Audition" and then selecting "Clip". And once again, the "Render and Replace" dialogue box appears.

Audition does open up with the clip in Waveform view; where I can see the stereo tracks ... but nothing in the Video box area.

I have the Workspace set to Edit Audio to Video.

The video clip is a Mini DV clip in an .AVI format (maybe this is the issue?!).

I can play back the audio in Audition just fine. I just need to visually see the video in order to make my adjustments.

OK ... so what am I doing wrong?

Setup:

Macbook Pro Retina 15" (v1)

OS X (10.10.2)

Audition CC 2014 - Build 7.2.0.52

Premiere CC 2014 - Build - 8.2.0 (65)

Video Clip - .AVI format from a Mini DV tape

Any (constructive) advice, suggestions, etc.. will be most appreciated!!!

Thank you.
