Hi - am a bit flummoxed by this one.
In Audition CC I've got a locked in hard limited to -0.1dB wav mixdown which I then save as 320MP3 - I then re-open that MP3 file and it's clipping on peaks (which the original file wasn't). Tried dither options (on/off), and my sample rate conversion is at 100% - any help (again) massively appreciated.
We are not enjoying this CC ride here right now. Cheers in advance and apologies if this is a repeated or newbie question that has been up before.
Running iMac retina 27' i7, 32GB RAM 4GB video card, flash hard drive. Brand new and on Yosemite.
UPDATE: curiously if I batch convert the .wav of the mixdown to 320 MP3 it doesn't clip....
