I performed the following tasks:
- Import 3 second 96 kHz/24 bit audio clip from Zoom H4n into Premiere Pro.
- Right click, edit in Audition.
- In audition, create multitrack from extracted wav file.
- In multitrack, duplicate wave to two additional tracks, apply Pitch Shifter to those tracks using "high precision".
- From the Multitrack menu, choose "export to premiere pro".
The render time for this 3 second export is about 1.5 hours on a fast, multicore CPU. Is this normal? It seems very long for a 3 second clip. Is it because the clip is 96 kHz/24 bit? If it is normal, can anyone suggest tips to speed it up?
