When I have Audition open, as well as Premiere, and I go back from Audition to Premiere, then come back to Audition, the audio signal is no longer coming through my speakers. The waveforms and the volume displays are all flashing away, but no audio is coming out of the speakers. The only way around this is to shut down Audition, and restart, and DO NOT toggle back between programs, which is my mind, is a real major issue...especially when trying to do audio work for a project in Premiere.
The only other way is to go into preferences and change the playback device to be the internal speaker on the MacPro, which is useless......hence why I have speakers connected.
I don't have this problem with any other audio software on my Mac.
I am running Yosemite on a new MacPro.
