I'm pretty new to Audition as a composer hoping to use it for sound design. I cannot see how to carry out (one of the most basic and most used functions of sound design) a not-time restricted pitch transposition. ie. when transposing down, time slows also. I can see the transposition in effects, but these are pitch correction rather than true transposition i.e.. time remains static. I want to pitch a piece of audio an octave down (or up) and not to hear artefacts, but to become a longer sound.
This is surprisingly hard to explain, but is very simple. Anybody able to help?
Don't want to get stuck at the first hurdle here. What have I missed?
