I recorded an interview my daughter did recently. Unfortunately, the location, while visually nice had a very noticeable air conditioning system "hum"/fan noise. I was able to use Audition to take a sample of the noise and then apply that as a noise reduction filter to the video file. It worked PERFECTLY.
Unfortunately, when I tried saving the video file with the newly cleaned audio, Audition wouldn't let me do this simple, basic function. The best I could find to do was to save it as a WAV (optionally MP3 or other format) audio file. I REALLY just need to clean up the audio and save it out so that I can use Prelude to mark all the clips (questions/answers) and then import that into Premiere Pro for final edit.
Can anyone give me a workflow that will simplify this? I think that SoundBooth used to do this by just allowing you to "save" the video file source and it would remix/rewrap the original video with the new cleaned up audio file. If memory served, it was REALLY quick.
As I said above, I can use Audition to clean up the audio from my MOV file, but when it comes time to save it, I am only presented with options to save the audio portion. This is problematic as I want to use Prelude to mark all the clips in these separate video files. I want the cleaned audio saved into the video file for ease of keeping track of what media I need to keep and what media I can delete.
Any help and/or insight to the process someone can give me would be GREATLY appreciated!
Best regards,
Scott
